BURURI October 31st (ABP) – The Minister of Infrastructure, Equipment and Social Housing, Dieudonné Dukundane, former pupils of Bururi high school, calls on those responsible for that establishment to make profitable the surface area of the school which extends on 37 hectares, for its self-financing.
That appeal was launched on Saturday, October 28, 2023, during a field trip carried out by former students of that high school to see the progress of the rehabilitation work on classrooms and other work, he said. The dormitories and the refectory are in critical condition. If nothing is done, the walls risk collapsing.
Minister Dieudonné Dukundane indicated that a team of technicians from his ministry will raid that establishment next week to provide an estimate.
The director of Bururi High School, Anicet Njejimana, said the school needs a vehicle, a sports field, a school fence, and teachers to replace those who have retired, as well as laboratory equipment.
Note that ten directors who led that establishment received certificates of merit. The students who occupied the first places in the four sections of the school and the first in the 7th year, in the national competition and the state exam, received envelopes of money
