MUYINGA October 19th (ABP) – A man residing in the Vyondo sub-village, in Gasave zone, Buhinyuza commune, Muyinga province (north-eastern Burundi) beheaded his pregnant wife Spéciose Nsengimana at the night of Wednesday to Thursday, a check by ABP revealed.
Léonard Mudende, the alleged criminal fled and committed suicide a few moments later. Mudende had killed his wife accusing her that she had just cheated on him after finding his little brother under the family roof along with Nsengimana. A month ago, a health care nurse from Nonwe in Giteranyi commune had his wife’s throat slit.
