Distribution of rabbits to 16 development associations in three communes of the Rumonge province

RUMONGE January 24th (ABP) – The section of the CNDD-FDD party in the Federal Republic of Russia on Saturday, January 20, distributed rabbits to 16 women’s associations located on different hills in the communes of Burambi, Buyengero and Rumonge.

On Kirama village where members of 5 associations from 5 hills met, 40 rabbits were distributed, at the rate of 8 rabbits per association.

Activities continued on Gatobo village in the Burambi commune where 6 associations from five selected hills also benefited from 40 rabbits. The activity ended on the Kizuka village in the Rumonge commune where 5 associations from the chosen hills received 40 rabbits.

On behalf of the delegation of the CNDD-FDD party section in the Federal Republic of Russia, J. Paul Nsengiyumva indicated that the collection of means to organize that activity was done with a view to supporting the national policy of the raising rabbits. He urged the beneficiary associations to take good care of those rabbits so that they multiply and are distributed to others. The women members of the beneficiary associations welcomed that gesture and called on other members of the diaspora to make their contribution, especially in the development projects of their homeland.

Note that there are also plans to distribute 15 health insurance cards to the most deprived people, on all the hills where those rabbits were distributed.
