CIBITOKE, November 15th (ABP) – A month and a half, after the start of the 2023-2024 school year, three classrooms at Nyarungeri basic school, in Kagurutsi village, saw their roof blown away by the wind, at the night of November 10 to 11 2023, during a torrential rain which fell in the Mugina commune, Cibitoke province.

According to the permanent executive secretary, Delphin Nzobakenga, there was no human damage, stressing that this bad weather even took away the frame of those three classrooms.

The principal of that school asks for support from the administration and the natives for the rehabilitation of the roof of the damaged rooms.

As for the provincial director of education, Joseph Nyandwi, in such situations, the school management in collaboration with parents must fend for themselves, for the continuation of learning.
