Burundi Ombudsman has launched community development work in Mwumba

NGOZI January 30th (ABP) – The community development work launched in Ngozi province has been attended by the Burundian ombudsman, Mrs. Laurentine Kanyana. The activities took place in Mwumba commune. They consisted in ironing out the playground located in the Kabazana village of the Gatsinda zone. The governor of the province of Ngozi, Emmanuel Ntaconsanze, has indicated that from now on every Saturday will be devoted to the development works which will take place in each zone. This is to respond to the appeal of the Head of State to upgrade that work. Mrs. Kanyana returned to the importance of community development work which is the pillar of development. She said that this playground is of paramount importance for the youth who must train for various games. Big international stars like the great footballers, basketball players, volleyball players, etc., come from here. She did not fail to remind the people of the importance of family planning. She also urged the administration and the people of Mwumba to revalue the coffee crop which is of notorious importance for the country.
