CIBITOKE December 15th (ABP) – A 60 mortar bomb was discovered by farmers in their rural activities last week on Remera hill, Buhayira zone of Murwi commune, Cibitoke province.
Administrative and police sources indicate that after receiving the information, the police rushed to the place, and were able to recover this old mortar.
Information gathered in Buhayira suspects that the bomb was launched during the fighting in the civil wars in the country, in certain localities of Buhayira and its surroundings.
The administration and the police commend the good collaboration of the people of Buhayira with the police, and encourage those from other villages of the province to follow this model, for keeping peace and tightening security.
