MUYINGA November 24th (ABP) – A joint search of the communal administration of Muyinga (north-eastern Burundi) with the police at the central market of Muyinga, resulted in the seizure of two bags of organo-mineral fertilizer (FOMI), a bag of chemical fertilizer (urea), 21 rolls of non-biodegradable white packets and strong alcoholic drinks packed in plastic bottles, Muyinga commune administrator, Mr. Amédée Misago.
According to him, the ultimate objective of that search is to discourage, in the markets of the commune, the trade of the goods not authorized by the law in such places.
Similar operations will be carried out in other localities of the commune, he added.
