KAYANZA May 29th (ABP) – The interfaith thanksgiving prayer ending the month of May, a prayer commonly organized by the CNDD-FDD party on the last Thursday of each month, took place in the nine communes of the Kayanza province. In the headquarters of that province, it took place at the provincial office located in Kinga village. Activists of the said party from different villages of Kayanza commune and heads of decentralized services met there. Relying on the Holy Scriptures from 1 Samuel 16: 12-13, the deputy provincial secretary of the CNDD-FDD party in Kayanza, Mr. Mathieu Bazira, indicated that it is a propitious time to give glory to God for his daily benefits especially since, according to him, it is not always up to everyone to complete the month while still alive.

The preachers of the day also relied on the theme of the day. In his preaching, Sheikh Nyandwi Souleyman Fazi urged the Bagumyabanga to respect, honor, follow and implement the recommendations from their leaders who he believes have been anointed by the Almighty. Once all those instructions are respected, there is no doubt that the whole country will be at peace from the basic units, he added.

In turn, Pastor Bernard Nsavyumwami described the representatives of others as shepherds who always care about the welfare of their sheep.
