BURURI October 5th (ABP) – Young creatives supervised by the Youth Economic Empowerment and Employment Program (PAEEJ) are undergoing training on bread making, at the headquarters of the province of Bururi, a check on the site on Wednesday, October 4, 2023 by ABP has revealed.
A group of 20 young beneficiaries of financial support from PAEEJ came together to create a bakery combined with a pastry shop at the headquarters of the Bururi province.
According to Miss Carmelle Irakoze, one of the members, with the aim of economic empowerment, young job creators have agreed to make quality breads competitive on the market. After a 15-day training with both technical and financial support from PAEEJ, they will be awarded certificates.
She indicated that there are a high number of shops or selling points for that product, which requires technical expertise and product improvement. She confessed that the bread they are going to make has a much improved flavor. Lack of capital, raw materials and workplace are the main constraints, she concluded.
