BUJUMBURA June 14th (ABP) – The Bonne Action Umugiraneza Foundation distributed, on Monday June 12, 2023, food aid to people of advanced age in three zones of Bujumbura City Council, namely Kamenge, Buyenzi and Kanyosha. The aid consisted of six tons of rice and 100 boxes of natura milk.
In an interview given to the press, Mr. Aimable Sindayikengera, coordinator of activities in that foundation, indicated that this gesture was made in the context of approaching the vulnerable people not only in the city of Bujumbura, but throughout the national territory.
He took the opportunity to appeal to any well-wisher to help those people, especially those who do not have the means to survive.
For their part, the aid beneficiaries expressed their feelings of satisfaction towards the Foundation, which offered that food assistance which, according to them, has come at the right time.
