The authorities of Mwaro province are called upon to work in complementarity

MWARO February 14th (ABP) – The national secretary of the CNDD-FDD party in charge of political and legal issues at the same time godfather of the Mwaro province, Mr. Jean Marie Muhirwa, joined, on Saturday February 11, the people of Nyamiyaga village in Rusaka commune, in community development work consisting in the mixing of cement and sand used in the construction of a classroom. That community development work was also attended by the members of the Solidarity of soldiers and police native to Rusaka commune (SOMIBU).

In his welcoming address, the governor of Mwaro province, Gaspard Gasanzwe, indicated that peace and security reign in all the communes and people are at work. Regarding development in the agricultural sector, Mr. Gasanzwe indicated that at the national level, the Sangwe cooperative of Gasenyi located in that province is ranked 2nd in agricultural production, after the Sangwe cooperative of Mukike in Bujumbura province.

Taking the floor, Mr. Muhirwa promised the authorities of that province that he will always be close to them to further extend the step the province has taken in development. He stressed that the goal of the government is for every citizen to develop in all sectors. For this reason, he said, that he has come to strengthen community development work.

He said that the development of the province will not come from outside, hence, he asked the people to make prosperous the families, the commune, the province and the country in general.

Thus, Mr. Muhirwa called on the authorities to work in complementarity for the development of their constituents.

Mr. Muhirwa congratulated the natives of Rusaka commune who give their all by supporting their commune of origin in development. On his behalf, he donated an envelope of 500 thousand BIF for the purchase of bags of cement. The solidarity of soldiers and police native to Rusaka also contributed an envelope of 500 thousand BIF.
