BUBANZA December 6th (ABP) – The governor of Bubanza province, Mr. Cléophas Nizigiyimana joined the inhabitants of Bubanza commune (north-west of Burundi), in community development works, which consisted in the concreting of part of the stand of the modern stadium, in the headquarters of the province, a check on the site by ABP has revealed.

Members of the various political parties, in uniform, the members of the various religious denominations gathered in the “Inter-confessional Council of Burundi” (CICB) and other inhabitants from the five communes of the Bubanza province, had responded to these construction works of that stage.

In his speech, the governor of Bubanza province invited his leaders to take ownership of the security and development of their province, for their well-being and that of their descendants. He asked for everyone’s contribution in the construction of this stadium, which, according to him, is a public infrastructure that everyone will need.

Governor Nizigiyimana calls on local residents to safeguard peace and security, not to give way to rumors that sow insecurity and to avoid mob justice in the event of various accusations. It should be noted that AHAMER staff members, natives of Bubanza province, granted a contribution of 2,500,000 BIF and a resident of Bubanza commune contributed five bags of cement for the continuation of the construction of that stadium.
