Trips by the secretary general of the CNDD-FDD party

MURAMVYA, October 6th (ABP) – The secretary general of the CNDD-FDD party, Hon. Révérien Ndikuriyo, began on Wednesday October 4 a series of trips to zones of Muramvya province (Central-West), where he officially launched the activities of the new party leaders in the zones of Kiganda and Muramvya communes.

That trip was an opportunity for the secretary general of the ruling party to meet on the field the 102 Bagumyabanga trained in each village on patriotism with a view to strengthening the values and mores of Burundian culture, as bequeathed by the ancestors namely Ntare Rugamba, Mwezi Gisabo, Bihome but also the national heroes, Prince Louis Rwagasore and President Mechior Ndadaye, he underlined.

Mr. Ndikuriyo informed the already trained members of the CNDD-FDD party that they must respect the lessons they took and train others with a view to recruiting those who have not yet joined the CNDD-FDD party.

In an interview, he raised awareness among the people about sexual and reproductive health, family planning, schooling and education for all children of school age as well as good nutrition in families.

Those visits by the secretary general were respectively carried out in the zones of Gasura, Kibumbu, Buhangura, Mbuye and Nyarucamo in the communes of Kiganda and Muramvya, in accordance with the new administrative division of the communes of Kiganda and Muramvya of the new province of Gitega. Those trips will continue in the rest of the zones, a check on the site by ABP has revealed.
