CIBITOKE September 4th (ABP) – The Prime Minister of the Republic, Gervais Ndirakobuca, joined, on Saturday, September 2, the people of Murwi commune, in Cibitoke province, in community work consisting of mixing concrete, for the half-columns of the covered sidewalk of the nine classrooms of Karonge basic school under construction.

According to the Murwi district administrator, Melchiade Nzokizwanayo, the nine classrooms already paved which only lack roofs, are the work of a certain Anselme Bucumi, native of the Gitera-Maranga village, who financed the costs of construction, iron bars, cement, while demanding his district, only bricks, gravel and rubble. That native, who wanted to provide his native village with modern classrooms, has also already given his contribution of 200 school benches for equipment. Although he plans to come on vacation to his native country, he has already requested iron sheets from the Office of the President of the Republic, so that there is no delay in the opening of the school year, at his old school of Karonge.

In his speech, the Prime Minister encouraged the inhabitants of the Buziransazi zone in Murwi district, who respond to the calls of the President of the Republic, to work in cooperatives, to maintain small gardens which they irrigate according to their possibilities, during the current dry season. He called on them to obey their leaders, and not listen to recalcitrant and malicious people who want to confuse them. To overcome the high cost of living criticized by some, the Prime Minister called on them to work, produce a lot for their families and feed other corners of the country, including other countries. For that zone of the Murwi district, known for having hidden the FDD fighters, in difficult years, Prime Minister Ndirakobuca encouraged its population, model of hospitality and discretion, to also serve as a model in development activities. For his part, he promised to follow the file about the iron sheets for the nine classrooms, before the start of the school year, scheduled for September 18. On this, he also promised to contribute to equipping those classrooms with benches, without forgetting to promise to join forces with other natives in the rehabilitation of the road leading to that locality. He did not forget to make a strong appeal to the diaspora and other natives, to follow in the footsteps of Mr. Bucumi, for the development of their native villages.
