CIBITOKE July 5th (ABP) – One week before the date of the State exam, 2023 edition, preparations are proceeding normally, in Cibitoke province, according to the Provincial Director in charge of Education (DPE), Joseph Nyandwi.

The new candidates in the post-basic school and self-taught pupils, will take that exam, in three test centers, which are Cibitoke I, II and Butara high school, according to the same official.

The number of regular candidates stands at 1,641, including 561 regular candidates expected at Cibitoke I, 618 candidates are expected at Cibitoke II, while 456 candidates will take the exam at Butara High School, in Bukinanyana commune.

The number of self-taught candidates will be known before the first day of the examination, according to him. The reason for being known at the last minute is that it is they who must bring their files to schools, then register at the assessment office, located in Bujumbura, he told a check by ABP.

As for the assessment courses, the planned programs were completed on time, and the reinforcement sessions on the examination subjects are the continuation process in different schools, he said.
