Mwaro June 16th (ABP) – The governor of Mwaro province, Gaspard Gasanzwe, commends the achievements of some stakeholders in the development of that province, for their frank collaboration with the administration. He cited organizations like Ripple Effect, One-Acre fund Tubura and Biraturaba. He said so in an evaluation meeting of the achievements of agricultural season B and those of the second half of 202-2023, for those in the non-agricultural sector, held for the Agriculture and Rural Development Sector Group (GSADR) and the PPSAN Mwaro Steering Committee.
During the meeting, Governor Gasanzwe stressed that the three organizations are visibly contributing in the fight against poverty. He called on the other stakeholders who turned a deaf ear, to collaborate with the administration and to work in transparency.
In his advice, the representative of the national intelligence service in Mwaro, Méroé Ntunzwenimana, stressed that NGOs are important and called on stakeholders to set up projects that will be sustainable and profitable for the community, even after their withdrawal.
