Delivery of keys to acquirers of apartments in the 4th block of collective housing

BUJUMBURA April 8th (ABP) – The Minister of Infrastructure, Equipment and Social Housing, Mr. Déogratias Nsanganiyumwami, chaired on Tuesday, April 5, 2022, the key handover ceremonies to the acquirers of 24 apartments in the 4th block of collective housing in Kigobe Nord, Ntahangwa commune in Bujumbura City, which was built by the Burundi Authority of Urban Planning, Housing and Construction (OBUHA), a check on the site by ABP has revealed.

In his remarks, Minister Nsanganiyumwami indicated that the construction project of collective housing for people is one of the priorities of the State.

By handing them the keys, he thanked the acquirers of those apartments for the courage they have shown and asked them to remain united in order to support the development of the country.

In turn, the commissioner of OBUHA, Mr. Jean-Pierre Gatore, indicated that those apartments consist of 24 dwellings worth 1,171,344,000 BIF built on a plot of 24 acres. He said that this project was launched in 2009.
