KAYANZA March 22nd (ABP) – The Speaker of the National Assembly, Mr. Daniel Gélase Ndabirabe, in the continuation of his trip campaign in line with the parliamentary recess, met on Saturday March 19, in his native commune of Matongo, Kayanza province (north), the grassroots administrative officials and heads of communal services.

The governor of that province, Mr. Rémy Cishahayo, clarified that the farmers of the commune visited understood and implemented the policy of pooling plots of land for bloc agriculture, compared to other communes. He indicated that the farmers of Muhanga and Rango communes still practice agriculture with archaic techniques.

In general, Governor Cishahayo continued to say that the Matongo commune is doing well in almost all sectors. However, he regretted the disagreement that exists between the administrator of the Matongo commune and her collaborators, revealing that certain collaborators of Mrs. Alice Nsabiyumva are revolting against her on the pretext that she is a woman.

Reacting to that behavior deemed difficult, Mr. Ndabirabe warned the collaborators of that administrative authority. He insisted that those who do not want to support her should resign their positions to avoid the paralysis of the achievements and projects of the commune.

Faced with those challenges, the Speaker of the National Assembly wished that the President of the Republic, the Prime Minister and the Minister responsible for the interior in take the question in hand, so that the persons concerned are dismissed from their functions.

In Matongo commune as in other communes where he was able to spend a whole week, Mr. Ndabirabe focused his lessons on good leadership, fair justice and socio-economic development.

It is worthy to recall that it was the sixth day of his tour campaign in Kayanza province where he is always accompanied by the parliamentarians elected in that administrative constituency.
