KIRUNDO March 22nd (ABP) – The secretary general of the CNDD-FDD party, Mr. Révérien Ndikuriyo, joined on Saturday March 19, 2022 the Bagumyabanga of Kirundo province (northern Burundi) in Vumbi commune to participate in the ceremonies of welcoming new members, a check on the site by ABP has revealed. The provincial secretary of CNDD-FDD in Kirundo province, Mr. Jean Claude Mbarushimana, said that 5604 new members were on the list but 4767 were able to present themselves in Vumbi. He indicated that CNDD-FDD party activists in Kirundo province are peaceful and coexist normally with other political parties. As for the secretary general of the CNDD-FDD party, he thanked the leaders of the said party in Kirundo province who encouraged the people to trust the party, since, he said, the party representation at the national level has already noted that this province is among the strong provinces in terms of mobilization and that it is visible that Kirundo will be able to rank first in the 2025 elections if the mobilizers maintain the courage they are showing today. He added that the CNDD-FDD party intends to invest a lot of strength in all those courageous provinces to make them more solid. Mr. Ndikuriyo asked the new members to join other Bagumyabanga to consolidate the ruling party and contribute to the development of the country through cooperatives. Mr. Ndikuriyo indicated that it is planned to preach to the youth notions of patriotism in order to train useful citizens in the development of their nation. Note that the secretary general of the CNDD-FDD visited the construction site of the modern stadium of Nyarunazi based in Busoni commune to inquire about the progress and also visited the construction site of the provincial office of that party where they did some works.
