BURURI December 2nd (ABP) – For several days in front of the office of the public service mutual insurance company (MFP), there has been a crowd of people looking for the new biometric card, a check on the site by ABP has revealed.

Affiliates of that institution came from the provinces of Bururi, Makamba, Rumonge and Rutana. They are at the mutual insurance company from morning until night. Mutual staff met on site said they work until 9 p.m.

Some of the affiliates that we exchanged have indicated that they are arranging together to take a rental bus for the day. Unfortunately, they go all day without being greeted and are forced to stay in hotels, which amounts to paying double. The same affiliates say they are rushing through these days so that the deadlines don’t run out. They begin to show anger towards certain agents of the mutual insurance company who are complicit with the clients by favoring some of course in return for money.

The head of agency of the southern mutual, Louis Nduwumwe said that the period to deliver those biometric cards until December 1 concerns only the staff of the public service mutual and affiliates of the city of Bujumbura. Note that the barrier measures against covid19 are not respected at all.
