The Kayanza inter-municipal grouping is studying the methods of creating the Kayanza Polytechnic Higher Institute

KAYANZA June 8th (ABP) – The Kayanza inter-municipal grouping (GICOK) met on Saturday June 5 in a general assembly to establish the legal bylaw governing the creation of the Kayanza Polytechnic Higher Institute (ISPK) which will be built in Matongo commune, Kayanza province (northern Burundi), a check by ABP revealed.

The Speaker of the National Assembly, Mr. Daniel Gélase Ndabirabe, who had honored those activities with his presence, indicated that this institute will allow the development of that province. He asked the representatives of the people to work harder by following the programs of the communes.

As for the governor of Kayanza, Colonel Rémy Cishahayo, he said that the activity of the day was aimed at setting up an inter-communal group, whose mission is to plan and implement the various projects of Kayanza province, starting with the Kayanza Provincial University construction project. He stressed that this polytechnic institute will allow the youth of Kayanza to embrace that high level university, especially since the province has no university today.
