Visit to Shunyi district, an industrial development zone of Beijing

BEIJING, March 18th (ABP) – Under the guidance of the leaders and members of China International Press Communication Center (CIPCC), intern journalists from across the world paid a visit, on Friday March 15, 2024, to Shunyi district located in the northeast of Beijing, as part of seeing with their own eyes China’s achievements in automobile, aviation, pharmacy and art sectors.

Further information is that Shunyi borders the Beijing districts of Pinggu to the east, Tongzhou to the south, Chaoyang to the southwest, Changping to the west, Huairou to the north, and Miyun to the northeast, as well as Hebei province to the southeast.

At the Automobile Industry Research and Development Base of Beijing, journalists witnessed modern cars of various brands, made in China. The communication officers described each car with its unique features both within and outside the car. For instance, Mu Sa is one of the representative products of Beijing Hyundai, with handsome appearance, excellent functions, advanced intelligence and reliable quality. It has exclusive rear suspension seats, which can be said to be the comfortable “luxury alternative” to million-dollar luxury cars. The rear seat posture is comfortable, and the rear entertainment ecology is rich and interesting. Covering 20 square kilometers in total, it comprises the South Area and the North Area. Located in the vicinity of the Beijing Capital International Airport, China International Exhibition Center, Central Villa Zone, Shine Hills, and a cohort of living and production facilities, the Industrial Park enjoys coordinated industrial development, spatial interconnectivity, and city-industry integration.

Beijing China-Germany Industrial Park is the main carrier of Beijing China-Germany Economic and Technological Cooperation Demonstration Zone as the first national-level German cooperation park under the theme of “economic and technological” cooperation. It undertakes national-level German exchange activities, builds a national-level German cooperation platform, serves national-level German cooperation projects, and connects resources for national German cooperation.

As a China-Germany cooperation center park, Beijing China-Germany Industrial Park joins hands with local governments, industry associations, universities, research institutes, and companies from both China and Germany to explore and implement new paths of China-Germany economic and technological cooperation with “joint innovation and integrated development”, jointly composing a new future for China-Germany cooperation.

As for future outlook, it is specified through a brochure that an open, dynamic Beijing China-Germany Industrial Park will continue on the main path of high-quality development driven by high-level opening-up, with equality, mutual benefit and pragmatic cooperation as the core, prioritizing national position, joint innovation, integrated development and industrial promotion, in its pursuit of creating an innovative model of China-Germany economic and technological cooperation.

As far as the Airport Economic Zone of Beijing Capital International Airport is concerned, the latter took inception in the 1900s. Located in the Beijing Capital Airport Economic Zone, it started functioning in 2014 and covers an area of ​​80 acres and has a total construction area of ​​26,000 square meters. It is a pharmaceutical bonded distribution center that meets the requirements of GSP (Good Safety Practice) specifications. Over the years, Sinopharm Bonded has provided complete supply chain services to many world-renowned pharmaceutical companies such as Novartis Pharmaceuticals, and is committed to becoming an industry-leading international pharmaceutical supply chain service provider.

Over the past 20 years, he has taken countless aerial photographs of natural landscapes and wildlife,  tens of thousands of them during his 48 trips to Africa, two journeys to the Antarctic,  four forays to the Arctic, and four trips to Latin America. He hopes that the art museum can be a place that offers rest and comfort for every soul, and will also be his priceless legacy to younger generations, hence it is permanently open and free of charge to teenagers under 15 years of age.
