BUBANZA March 12th (ABP) – The Attorney General of the Republic, Mr. Léonard Manirakiza, joined on Saturday March 9 the residents of Mpanda commune in Bubanza province (northwest of Burundi) in the community development work which consisted of building the Musenyi zone office, a check on the site by ABP has revealed.

In his speech, Mr. Manirakiza called on local residents to change mentalities by working with the objective of achieving the vision of Burundi emerging in 2040 and developed in 2060.

To achieve that, he asks them to avoid anything that wastes their time and leads them to waste their financial resources such as cohabitation, family ceremonies deemed unnecessary and endless trials. They must ensure the proper functioning of judicial and other bodies.

According to him, the fact of speaking the same language, Kirundi, should be an asset to be exploited for the improvement of living conditions because, he explained, that allows Burundians to discuss projects of their own. development through grouping in cooperatives. The same language also allows them to properly explain and understand the government’s orientations which lead them towards the vision of an emerging Burundi in 2040 and developed in 2060, he continued. He invited everyone to respect the law and the authorities, to ensure the strengthening of hygiene and to safeguard peace and security, a check on the site by ABP has revealed.

Note that the Musenyi zone is one of the two zones that make up the Mpanda commune.
