4th day of international women’s cycling

NGOZI October 27th (ABP) – The province of Ngozi hosted, Wednesday October 25, the 3rd day of the international women’s cycling competition. Cyclists from eight African countries are expected to arrive in the headquarters of Ngozi. The first three places were all taken by Rwandan cyclists. In terms of classification by country, Rwanda was first followed by Benin and Burundi host country.

The president of the Burundi Cycling Federation thanked the inhabitants of Ngozi for the warm welcome given to cycling. He thanked the government of Burundi for supporting the organization of that competition.

The governor of Ngozi province welcomed that competition which is being organized in Burundi for the third time. He wanted it to be extended to other continents so that a large number of competitors could come who could fully appreciate the image of our country.

The competition saw the participation of eight African countries, namely Burundi, Rwanda, Benin, DR Congo, Uganda, Cameroon, Ivory Coast and Egypt. For the 4th day, the cyclists travel the Ngozi-Gitega route on Thursday October 26 to finish the competition on Saturday in Bujumbura.
