MAKAMBA September 14th (ABP) – The governor of Makamba province (southern Burundi), Françoise Ngozirazana, held a meeting on Tuesday, September 12, 2023, for partners working in that province.

During that meeting, she asked the municipal administration to organize meetings with partners working in the commune to improve the framework for collaboration and communication, a check on the site by ABP has revealed.

The governor also asked those partners to consult, each time, the Communal Community Development Plans (PCDC), in order to respond to the concerns of the population of the municipalities. To achieve this, she added, these partners will have to adjust their budget year to Burundi’s fiscal year and provide, each time, reports of their activities to know the challenges and successes in each sector of activity.

Mrs. Ngozirazana also recalled that the choice of action zones must be made in collaboration with the provincial administration so that all zones move at the same pace of development.

She also asked partners to attach great importance to the environment, agro-livestock and education sectors. It is with this in mind that the provincial administration intends to organize field trips, the last week of September, to evaluate their achievements.
