Capacity building for justice inspectors

BUJUMBURA April 12th  (ABP) – The Ministry of Justice in collaboration with the General Inspectorate of the State, proceeded on Friday, April 7, 2023 in Bujumbura, to the closing of a two-week training workshop whose he objective was to build the capacity of justice inspectors, in order to respond to the recommendations made by the General State Inspectorate.

On that occasion, the Inspector General of Justice, Mrs. Anne Marie Nkeshimana indicated that these inspectors have been trained to properly comply with the standards governing the control generally devolved to an internal control structure, within the public sector.

She indicated that 26 inspectors have received training on the verification methodology and specified that currently they are able to distinguish the different phases as well as all the techniques that guide the verification from planning to report writing of verification.

Mrs. Nkeshimana indicated that the knowledge acquired for that training will enable them to respond to the various missions newly defined by Decree No. 100/121 of March 27, 2023 of the General Inspectorate of Justice. She invited the justice inspectors who received that training to take advantage of the knowledge acquired at the Ministry of Justice in achieving its objectives.
