BUJUMBURA April 11th (ABP) – The President of the Republic of Burundi, Evariste Ndayishimiye joined on Good Friday April 7, 2023, the Catholic Christians of the Chapel of the Holy Spirit of the Community of Jesuit Fathers, located in Kiriri, branch of the Regina Mundi parish, in the way of the cross procession.
Father Désiré Yamuremye has, in his teachings, made it known that the moment marking the passion of Christ is an opportunity for recollection and prayer for all Christians.
It is also a moment of awareness and meditation on the sufferings of Jesus Christ who sacrificed his life to save all of humanity.
According to him, it is also a prayer during which believers all over the world share in the suffering of Christ at the time of the way of the cross.
