Analysis and adoption of the draft calendar of MPs’ activities from April 4 to 10

BUJUMBURA April 5th (ABP) – The Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly, Mrs. Sabine Ntakarutimana, led a plenary session on Tuesday, April 4, 2023 to analyze and pass the draft calendar of activities of the MPs from April 4, 2023 to April 10, 2023.

Indeed, Mrs. Ntakarutimana said on April 5 and 7, 2023 in the morning, there will be a training workshop in legalistics for the MPs and executives of the National Assembly, in Ngozi.

The afternoon of April 7, 2023 will be devoted to the analysis and adoption of the Senate amendments to the bill on the ratification by the Republic of Burundi of the capital increase of the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development and international financial corporation as agreed by the Board of Governors in Washington on April 21, 2018, she said.

She also reminded the MPs to participate in the ceremonies marking the commemoration of the death of President Cyprien Ntaryamira. For Monday, April 10, 2023, there will be a meeting of the bureau and committee work, she added.
