KAYANZA February 15th (ABP) – The governor of Kayanza (north), Rémy Cishahayo, asks pig farmers to avoid the circulation, marketing and consumption of pork meat because African Swine Fever has already taken a lot of heads. He made that recommendation after a meeting he recently held in Matongo commune with communal administrators to discuss the overall situation in the province. Governor Cishahayo invited pork consumers to wait until the eradication of the plague because, he said, it is for the good of all.
To the communal administrators, he recommended to ensure the scrupulous respect for those measures.
