KAYANZA December 20th (ABP) – The Umuco group of the northern scout region, organized on Saturday December 17, 2022, in the headquarters of Kayanza province (north), activities relating to the shortlisting of candidates for the final of the competition called Miss Kayanza 2023.
Out of 20 registered candidates, 13 of them were present. Highlighting culture, intelligence and bodily beauty, the Miss Kayanza competition is in its 12th edition and is organized on January 1 of each year.
During the pre-selection phase of the candidates, the participating girls answered oral questions and eleven of them were pre-selected to participate in the final.
The coordinator of activities relating to the organization of that competition, Mr. Rémy Nduwayo, said that the Miss Kayanza competition is of paramount importance in the sense that it allows girls to learn how to represent their pairs. He thus asked the parents to sensitize their young girls, so that they take part much more in that competition especially that it is sponsored by the office of the governor of Kayanza.
