The beneficiaries each received 10 notebooks, 2 pens and a latte. Whoever received it for the first time, benefited from a sum of 20,000 BIF for the purchase of the Health Assistance Card and the uniform.

One of the leaders of that Baptist Church of Burundi, Pastor Julien Nsengiyumva, indicated that this good action was guided by the fact that, to help the vulnerable is in the specifications of the Church, but also that the school is one of the pillars of a better future for the learner and the country, a check on the site by ABP has revealed.

The chief of staff of the governor of the province Bubanza Jean Bosco Nduwimana expressed the wish to see, those pupils’ beneficiaries of the school material, love and diligently follow the teachings. He asked provincial development partners to always consider supporting the education sector, which is the key area for the development of the country and households. He also invited the members of the monitoring and supervision committees for vulnerable pupils to redouble their efforts for good success in class because, according to him, out of 123 pupils in the commune of Mpanda who were supported by that Church, last year only 79 passed, he said.

Note that more than 430 pupils, orphans and other vulnerable people from Bubanza province will be assisted with school materials by that Church, said Pastor Nsengiyumva.
