The President of the Republic is delighted with the contribution of the KCB-Burundi bank in the promotion and support of the private sector

GITEGA August 16th (ABP) – The President of the Republic Evariste Ndayishimiye, received in audience, on Friday August 12, 2022, at the presidential palace of Gitega (Center of the country), a delegation from the KCB-Burundi bank led by Mr. Paul Russo, the CEO of KCB Group as part of the celebration of the ten-year anniversary of that bank in Burundi.

The Head of State hailed the contribution of that bank, particularly in promoting and supporting the private sector in Burundi. In an interview with the media, the President’s deputy spokesperson, Mrs. Doriane Munezero, said that the Burundian President is delighted with the presence of the KCB bank in Burundi. That testifies to a better brotherhood of the Kenyan people and the Burundians, she said.

President Ndayishimiye, according to his deputy spokesperson, hopes that this fraternity will be a model of good neighborliness for all the countries of the community of East African countries of which he currently holds the presidency.

Mrs. Munezero also pointed out that the KCB-Burundi bank delegation thanked the President of the Republic for the availability of the Burundian authorities which made it possible to carry out several development projects through the financing of the various projects and the support to Burundian businessmen.

Note that on this occasion, that bank gave the Umugiraneza Polyclinic of Kibimba, in Giheta commune, a donation of medical equipment worth 45 million Burundian francs. Those ceremonies took place at the headquarters of that polyclinic.
