185 weather variation-affected households from Rutyazo village have been assisted

MWARO June 1st (ABP) – Burundi Senate first vice president Dénise Ndadaye granted on Saturday May 28, at the Kigutu stadium in Mwaro province, food consisting of rice and beans to 185 households, recently affected by torrential rain that fell in Rutyazo village, Mwaro zone in Kayokwe commune.

Mrs. Ndadaye indicated in her speech for the occasion that after having received a message saying that there are households which are affected by the rain, she contacted the Ministry of Solidarity to request assistance, hence on Friday the 27th of May, the said ministry sent aid consisting of 2 tons of beans and 400 kg of rice.

The first vice president of the Senate called on the beneficiaries of the aid to welcome it in good faith. To the neighbors of the Rutyazo village, she recommended that they strengthen unity and social cohesion, while ensuring the preservation of peace and security, a source of sustainable development. Note that each household received 2 kg of rice and 5 kg of beans.
