MWARO March 21st (ABP) – The frequency of young people and adolescents from Mwaro province to youth-friendly health centers is low. The lack of information about the services offered and the insufficiency of health promotion technicians are among the causes. That is said by the medical director of the Mwaro health province, Dr. Ezechiel Nzuwonsaba, during an interview he gave to ABP. That health authority therefore invites heads of decentralized services and religious leaders to contribute to raising awareness among those young people of the importance of attending those centers.

Indeed, he said, those who attend youth-friendly health centers obtain information that allows them to protect themselves against sexually transmitted diseases and unwanted pregnancies.

Dr. Ezechiel Nzuwonsaba says that all health centers in Mwaro province are youth-friendly health centers, specifying that having good health is the basis of development.
