BUBANZA February 22nd (ABP) – The Secretary General of the CNDD-FDD party, Mr. Réverien Ndikuriyo, joined the inhabitants of Bubanza province (North-West of Burundi) in community development work on Saturday, the 19th, which consisted in constructing the modern stadium at the provincial headquarters.
In his speech, the Secretary General of the CNDD-FDD party indicated that the objective of the visit was to mobilize the inhabitants of that province in favor of community development work because, he said, it is development that will improve the image of all the provinces. He said that this modern stadium based in the headquarters of Bubanza province is one of those which will benefit from the synthetic carpet, and promises support until the end of construction.
He asked them to combine their efforts, each according to their means, in the continuation of the construction of that stadium. He also promised them to plead for the rehabilitation of RN 9 (Bujumbura-Bubanza), and called on local residents to tighten security, a major pillar of development. The governor of the Bubanza province, Mr. Cléophas Nizigiyimana, indicates that the construction work of that stadium is 2/3 of the end and is delighted with the effective involvement of the various people and legal personalities, a check in Bubanza by ABP has revealed.
The construction of that stadium saw the cement support from certain legal personalities such as the CNDD-FDD party which donated 200 bags, the “BENE SAMURAGWA” group which granted 1300 bags of cement, the “IMENA” company which donated the contribution of 300 bags, natives, inhabitants and civil servants of Bubanza province who donated 1056 bags, and the Secretary General of CNDD-FDD who gave 100 bags that remained out of the 300 bags promised.
It should be noted that the Secretary General of the ruling party was accompanied by the group “BENE SAMURAGWA” and the native executives of Bubanza province, CNDD-FDD executives and inhabitants of that province were present.
