CIBITOKE February 9th (ABP) – The Minister of the Interior, Community Development and Public Security, Mr. Gervais Ndirakobuca paid a working visit on Monday, February 7 to Cibitoke province. During that visit, Minister Ndirakobuca went to Mugina commune, to see the life led by the survivors of the Nyembundu landslide at the end of 2019, some of whom lost the roofs of their houses, there a few weeks. He took the opportunity to give them assistance consisting of nine tons of rice, three tons of beans, 900 sheets and 320 hoes to 310 vulnerable households, made up of 250 households from the Nyempundu survivors’ site, 42 surrounding households and 18 Batwa households.
The beneficiaries breathed a sigh of relief for that aid, and thanked the government through the Minister, for much assistance which has already been granted to them.
