Environmental Thursday tree seedlings campaign in the fifteen zones of Muramvya province

MURAMVYA January 10th (ABP) – During those community works linked to environmental Thursday, the governor of Muramvya province, Diomède Nzambimana, dispatched his special envoys to the five communes of Muramvya province (Center-West) which organized the tree planting campaign in the 15 zones of their jurisdiction. Those special envoys carried the message of the governor of Muramvya province which he also delivered after the planting activities of 3,200 eucalyptus tree seedlings on 2ha at the level of the Musave village in the Mushikamo zone of the Rutegama commune.

In his speech, Governor Diomède Nzambimana said that this campaign to plant trees in all the 99 villages of Muramvya province aims to support and implement the “Ewe Burundi Urambaye” national program. He indicated that the theme that Muramvya province has set for that silvicultural year is released as follows: “Let’s protect the environment in all the villages of Muramvya province”. Governor Diomède Nzambimana reported that planting of tree seedlings should be continued until there are no tree seedlings in several nurseries located in the communes.

Among other advice that the governor of Muramvya province has formulated to the people, he recommended respecting the barrier measures against the Corona Virus which is always talked about without forgetting to prepare at the start of the growing season B.
