The Burundian ombudsman has joined the people of Nyanza-Lac in the TDCs

MAKAMBA September 20th (ABP) – The Burundian ombudsman, Mr. Edouard Nduwimana, joined the population of Nyanza-Lac on Saturday September 18 in the preparation activities of a Cassia siamea nursery at the river Rwaba, Kabondo village, Nyanza-Lac zone and commune of Makamba province, a check on the site by ABP has revealed.

Mr. Nduwimana asked the people to continue going about daily activities without forgetting community service because peace and security are in good shape. He indicated that community development works (TDCs) is of paramount importance in contributing to the strengthening of social cohesion because all layers of the population participate. To strengthen this cohesion, he called on the Burundians to continue welcoming their compatriots who are returning to the fold from the refugee camps and to support the activities of the TRC.

Mr. Nduwimana advised the population and especially the young people to join together in agricultural cooperatives to respond to the government’s program to increase production. That is how they will receive loans from various banks including BIJE. He finally asked the people to continue to prevent themselves against Covid-19 by respecting the barrier measures as proposed by the Ministry of Public Health and the Fight against AIDS.
