KAYANZA September 7th (ABP) – The people of the Ruganza zone in Matongo commune of Kayanza province (northern Burundi) are called upon to keep their agricultural production in the storage shed located in the peace village located in Kivumu village.

That appeal was launched on Saturday September 4 by the communal administrator of Matongo, Mrs. Alice Nsabiyumva, after the community development works which consisted in drawing a street leading to the said hangar and preparing a land where tents will be built for the tents for the police, a check on the site by ABP has revealed.

Mrs. Nsabiyumva said that development goes hand in hand with work, thus urging the people of the Ruganza zone to force themselves to work and keep their production in the storage shed located at Kivumu village because, she said, the production should be squandered if it is kept at home.

At the same time, the same administrative authority in Matongo indicated that a new market in Kivumu will be opened within two weeks. She thus invited her citizens to flock to that market.
