BURURI, April 26th (ABP) – The governor of the Bururi province (southwest of Burundi), Col Léonidas Bandenzamaso, carried out a visit on Thursday, April 25, to the capital of the Matana commune to inquire about the hygiene situation in the workplace, a check on the site by ABP has revealed.

Otherwise, restrictive measures will be taken, including the closure of bars and restaurants that do not meet hygiene conditions.

The governor of Bururi asked officials of the Provincial Health Office to carry out regular monitoring and transmit reports to the competent provincial administrative authority.

As for administrators at all levels, they will have to impose administrative fines on

those who have not respected the recommendations.

Restaurants and bars must have a separate clean toilet on the men’s and women’s side, with drinking water. When leaving the toilet, a washing device must be made available to users.
