Launching and closing ceremonies of the Paralympic Games

BURURI March 26^th (ABP) – The Minister of National Defense and Veterans Mr. Alain Tribert Mutabazi proceeded on Saturday in the headquarters of Bururi province, to the launch of the national championship of the Paralympic Games, a check on the site by ABP has revealed. Eight teams competed in a game called sitting volleyball. Those are games for war disabled people. ANACOH won three sets to zero from Bahati de Rumonge; Muzinga easily beat Mpotsa team from Rusaka also three sets to zero, Intare team from Bururi province lost to Rwembe from Muramvya three sets to zero while Espoir beat Rugangantwari from Kayanza three sets to zero. The winning teams met in the semi-final. Muzinga and ANACOH beat respectively Rwembe and Espoir three sets to zero. The two teams Muzinga and ANACOH met in the final. It was Muzinga’s team that won. Minister Alain Tribert Mutabazi said that every year the ministry organizes a national championship for disabled war veterans to support them, encourage them and moralize their minds.
