During a meeting organized at the National Institute of Public Health (INSP), via videoconference, for natives of this province living in the city of Bujumbura, in other provinces of the country, as well as outside the country, Mr. Nibitanga, said that grumbles are heard from different people who come to contemplate the Karera Falls and the Nyakazu faults located in the communes of Musongati and Mpinga-Kayove, following the poor condition of the road.

Governor Nibitanga, during this meeting, indicated that eighty percent of the tree nurseries that have been prepared are in good condition and that “we are considering reforesting all the bare hills,” he stressed. , a statement which was supported by the provincial secretary of the ruling party, Mr. Sylvain Nzikoruriho, specifying that one million trees will be planted there, according to forecasts.

Participants working in the entertainment field noted that this sector is not supported in their native province and asked for support within the provincial administration because they too have a contribution to make in the development of the province and country.

Mr. Nibitanga took the opportunity to show meeting participants the progress of construction work on the building that will house the provincial office, which he said is satisfactory. He called on everyone who can to contribute, so that this construction can be completed as quickly as possible.
