GITEGA August 29th (ABP) – The FRODEBU party is alongside the government in its vision of leading Burundi towards emergence in 2040 and towards its development in 2060.
The secretary general of the said party, Mr. Oswald Ntakarutimana, delivered this message on Sunday August 27, 2023, in Gitega (center of the country) at the end of the work to put in place the leaders of the party bodies in the new province of Gitega.
The activity was organized on the same day in all the new provinces of the country, according to Mr. Ntakarutimana. He continued his remarks by stating that the party will sensitize all activists in the country to roll up their sleeves for the vision to come true.
Furthermore, he congratulated the newly elected heads of the party’s bodies and asked them to invest actively in widening the circle of activists.
On behalf of the newly elected, the provincial secretary of the party, Mr. Daniel Manirakiza, asked the militants of the said party to be good collaborators and urged the new leaders to tackle with determination the functions entrusted to them to strengthen the party.
Mr. Ntakarutimana also asked them to do the propaganda of the party so that it can have a place of choice in the elections of the next legislature. Recall that Gitega province now includes the former provinces of Karusi, Mwaro and Muramvya.
