BUJUMBURA August 23rd (ABP) – Mr. Omar Othman Makungu, a judge at the Appeals Court of the East African Court of Justice, took an oath on Tuesday, August 22, 2023, at the presidential palace, in front of Burundi Head of State Evariste Ndayishimiye, who is the current Chairperson of the East African Community.
With the Quran in hand, the judge at the appeals court of the East African Court of Justice solemnly swore to serve the East African Community in delivering justice in accordance with the Treaty of establishing that community.
