The Prime Minister of the Republic has been bound for Paris for a working mission

BUJUMBURA June 22nd (ABP) – The Prime Minister of the Republic of Burundi, Gervais Ndirakobuca, accompanied by his wife, flew in the afternoon of June 20, 2023, bound for Paris in France, for a work mission.

Mr. Ndirakobuca said, during a press briefing he hosted at Melchior Ndadaye International Airport before his departure, that he went there to represent the President of the Republic of Burundi at the Summit which will bring together developed countries, developing countries, banks and international institutions.

He indicated that this Summit will look at the multiple crises that haunt the world, including climate change and its impact on energy, health and economics, especially in the most vulnerable countries.

According to the Head of Government, it will also be an opportunity to find solutions to economic problems together, for the well-being of the world population.

It will also be an opportunity to discuss the new global financial pact, Mr. Ndirakobuca underlined.
