MURAMVYA April 3rd (ABP) – The President of the Republic of Burundi, Evariste Ndayishimiye, participated in the works related to the mixing of concrete, the paving and the reconciliation of construction materials of the multipurpose room of the provincial police station in Muramvya province (Central-West), a check on the site by ABP has revealed.
After that work, President Ndayishimiye gave a speech containing a good number of advice related to social cohesion and the promotion of cooperatives, especially agro-pastoral ones. He testified, with supporting examples, that only hardworking people are able to ensure self-development whether at the household level or the country as a whole.
In relation to the multipurpose hall under construction by the provincial police station, the Head of State warmly congratulated the provincial commissioner, Col de pol Édouard Mukoko for this innovation initiative. He thus promised the sheets necessary for this construction to be completed as soon as possible.
Note that the Head of State recommended to the governor of Muramvya province, Diomede Nzambimana, to strictly monitor the contouring activities to fight against the landslides reported in these days of heavy rain.
