The First Vice-Speaker of the National Assembly recommends observing hygiene

BUJUMBURA April 3rd (ABP) –The First Vice-Speaker of the National Assembly, Mrs. Sabine Ntakarutimana joined, on Saturday, April 1, 2023, the people of the Gihosha district, Gihosha zone and urban commune of Ntahangwa, in the community work for the construction of the Gihosha trade school. That work consisted of mixing cement and gravel for the concreting of the classrooms.

In her speech, Mrs. Ntakarutimana said that the government supports community development works organized throughout the country, every Saturday, and she thanked the people of Ntahangwa commune for responding to these works. She called on her to stick together and safeguard peace and security in order to do the development work quietly. Recognizing that the Bujumbura city is the mirror of the country, she, in fact, asked the urban people of Bujumbura to observe hygiene in their neighborhood so that the whole city is clean.

The Vice-Speakert of the National Assembly ended her speech by wishing that the period of Lent be a moment of solidarity and mutual support.
