BUBANZA April 3rd (ABP) – The Minister of Communication, Information Technologies and Media, Mrs. Léocadie Ndacayisaba, joined the inhabitants of Bubanza province, in the community development works on Saturday April 1 April 2023.
That work consisted of the concreting of two classrooms of the Technical High School of Kabamba, in Mpanda commune (North-West of Burundi), a check on the site by ABP has disclosed.
In their speeches, Minister Ndacayisaba and the governor of Bubanza province, Cléophas Nizigiyimana invited the inhabitants of Bubanza to engage in community development work because, they said, participating in the development of their province is an honor for them. . They also called on them to overcome laziness and take advantage of the fertility of this province to increase agricultural production. According to them, development remains impossible without production because the municipalities will not have taxes and levies for the implementation of development projects. In addition, they launched an appeal for family planning, explaining that demographic pressure leads to the exiguity of arable land and therefore to the reduction of production, compared to needs. Those authorities also called on the people for solidarity and mutual assistance.
