BUJUMBURA February 24th (ABP) – The President of the Republic of Burundi and current Chairman of the East African Community, Mr. Evariste Ndayishimiye, along with his Better Half, Angeline Ndayishimiye, took the plane on Friday, February 24, 2023, bound for Kinshasa in the Democratic Republic of Congo, to take part in the 22nd ordinary session of the Conference of Heads of State and Government of the Economic Community of Central African States, which will be held on February 25, 2023, according to the press release from the head of the office in charge of Information, Communication and the Spokespersonship for the President of the Republic, Mrs. Rosine-Guilène Gatoni.
She also specifies, through that press release, that the Head of State of Burundi will then make an official visit to the Republic of Congo on February 26, 2023, where he will meet with his counterpart Denis Sassou-Nguesso.
