CIBITOKE January 31st (ABP) – The torrential rain mixed with strong wind and hail, which fell on Sunday January 29, 2023 in the Rukana village, Rugombo commune, Cibitoke province, left at least two children injured, eleven houses destroyed and several crop fields damaged, according to the provisional report.
According to grassroots officials, the two injured were taken to the Rukana health center, while the victims with destroyed houses are being hosted in large numbers by neighbors, and others sleep out in the open, according to the same information source. Natives and other benefactors are called upon to help those affected by that weather variation.
